SENIOR (2013-14): Placed third at NCAA Championships ... led team with 10 tech falls ... was second in nation at the Division I level for number of tech falls ... beat No. 1 A.J. Schopp of Edinboro and No. 2 Tony Ramos of Iowa in back-to-back matches to win Midlands and jump from No. 7 to No. 2 in national rankings ... handed Ramos his only fall in college career ... Finn Grinaker Cobber Open champion at 133 pounds ... knocked off No. 2 Tyler Graff of Wisconsin, 6-0 in first home dual of season ... took third at Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational ... first Panther to earn two MAC Wrestler of the Week honors in the same season, winning Dec. 4 and Jan. 4 ... was first in career winning percentage among all Panthers (62-6 / .911) ... was third among all Panthers for best single-season winning percentage (35-2 / .946) ... finished UNI career undefeated at duals and giving up bonus points in just one match (a major decision).

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2011-12): Advanced to quarterfinals of NCAA Championships ... captured WWC title at West Regional ... Won a team-high 20 consecutive matches ... 18 of his 20-straight wins were won with bonus points (8 major decisions, 5 technical falls, 5 pins) ... undefeated in dual action all season (11-0) ... never lost to a WWC opponent (9-0) ... 8-3 versus ranked opponents ... upset No. 1-ranked Devin Carter of Virginia Tech at the National Duals Regional with a 13-3 major decision ... began season unrated and climbed as high as No. 5 in the national rankings ... placed 7th at prestigious Midlands Championships (his first major competition of the season after recovering from broken jaw) ... earned two WWC Wrestler of the Week honors ... won titles at Jim Fox Open and Flash Flanagan Open.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: NJCAA national champion (2010) ... named Outstanding Wrestler at 2010 NJCAA Tournament ... helped Iowa Central Community College win the 2010 NJCAA National Championship.
