Coming off of a third place finish at the annual exhibition Big Four Match Play Tournament in Phoenix, Ariz. the UNI men's golf team looks to open the Spring 2012 season off on the right foot. The men's golf team will be playing alongside the women's team as well on Monday, March. 12th.
TEEING OFF
- UNI finished the 2011 Fall season by placing 7th in the Bill Rose Intercollegiate.
- Ryan Horner led the way for the Panthers at the final fall meet by shooting a 75-73-71--219.
- The Primm Valley Golf Club holds a par of 71.
- Michael Wetrich looks to continue his success after shooting a 70-69--139 at the Big Four Match Play on Feb. 4.
- Ryan Horner looks to continue to improve his fall season average of 74.1 while Braden Gaal looks to outshoot his team-best 67 at the first round of the Gene Miranda Falcon Invite.
