EUGENE, Ore. - Former University of Northern Iowa NCAA champion Tyler Mulder advanced to the semifinals of the 800m run at the U.S. Olympic Trials being hosted at Hayward Field. Mulder posted the fastest time among the 32 entrants on Friday evening.
Mulder recorded a time of 1:46.81, winning his heat and securing the top qualifying spot among the 16 semifinalists.
The semifinals will take place at 6:45 p.m. (CT) Saturday evening. The eight-man final is scheduled for 9:47 p.m. (CT) on Mon., June 25. The top three finishers qualify for the U.S. Olympic Team.
