The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team entered day one action of the 2012 MVC Individuals competition in Wichita, Kansas this afternoon.

UNI picked up singles wins from juniors Krissy Lankelma and Chelsea Moor. The Panthers also saw Lankelma and Walker come out on top with a victory in doubles play over Southern Illinois in a 9-8 decision.

The Panthers will take the court again tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM for day two of the weekend's competition.
