OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- After shooting rounds of 300 and 301, the University of Northern Iowa men's golf team currently sit in 13th place. Leading the way for the Panthers is Michael Wetrich who carded a 72 and 75 on the day through 36 holes.
Aside from Wetrich's solid day one, Braden Gaal and Glenn Walls both finished the day shooting a pair of 152's through two rounds. Paul Bretl finished the day with a 154 and Yarri Bryn ended with a 159.
Leading the way for the Panthers on birdies for the day was Wetrich with five followed by Gaal and Bryn with four a piece.
The Panthers will finish the tournament tomorrow morning starting with an 8:30 am tee time for all golfers.
