University of Northern Iowa head women's basketball coach Tanya Warren has pledged $25 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure for each three-pointer the Panthers make in their Pink Zone game against Creighton on Fri., Feb. 24. The Panthers and Bluejays will meet in the McLeod Center at 8:30 p.m.
The Panthers are averaging 6.8 three-pointers per game, ranking them No. 28 in the nation. UNI has connected on six or more three-pointers in 11 of its last 13 games.
"The Pink Zone game is a tremendous event that we're always happy to be a part of," said Warren. "It's a great way for our sport to help raise awareness and team up in the fight against breast cancer."

Signed shoes from UNI seniors Rachel Madrigal, Katelin Oney and K.K. Armstrong
Pink basketball signed by the entire team
Colleges Against Cancer Basket
All proceeds from the auction will go to the American Cancer Society, through the UNI campus organization of Colleges Against Cancer.
The first 500 fans will receive pink three-point cards. All fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game.
