PEORIA, Ill. -- The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team took home the first place honors at the Grand Prairie Invite in Peoria, Ill. The Panthers were led by senior, Brittany Atterbury who also took home the individual first place medal.
The Panthers held the lead through all three rounds of play and their 295 second round score was the lowest of the tournament. Brittany Atterbury's second round 69 (-3) was also the best individual performance of the event.
Following Atterbury on the leaderboard is Sarah Boss who individually took home the second place honors. Alex Zenor finished in 7th followed by Blair Bonner who tied for 8th place, and Katie Tabbert who tied in 18th.
