The University of Northern Iowa women’s softball team was regularly scheduled for a double header in Omaha, Nebraska this afternoon with the Jays of Creighton University. With a tied ball game at 2-2 in the top of the 2nd the game was suspended due to lightning. Play from game one will resume tomorrow afternoon at 12:00 followed by game two. What was originally scheduled to be a 3 game conference series over the weekend will now just be a pair of games Sunday afternoon.
