UNI Football Completes Schedule with 5th Home Game

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - University of Northern Iowa Director of Athletics Troy Dannen announced the addition of a fifth home game to the UNI football team's 2012 schedule.

UNI will take on Central State University Sept. 8 in the UNI-Dome. Central State is an NCAA Division II school located in Wilberforce, Ohio. The Marauders are coached by former NFL player E.J. Junior. CSU's director of athletics is NFL Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow Sr. CSU is a member of the Great-Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

UNI will play five home games in 2012 with the Central State game serving as the home opener. UNI will also play host to North Dakota State (Sept. 29 - Family Weekend/Hall of Fame), South Dakota State (Oct. 20 - Homecoming), Illinois State (Oct. 27) and Missouri State (Nov. 17 - Senior Night).

UNI will open the 2012 season on the road at Wisconsin on Sept. 1 in Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wis.
