The University of Northern Iowa track & field teams will host the Mark Messersmith Invitational on Friday afternoon at the Messersmith Outdoor Track & Field Complex in Cedar Falls. The meet will serve as the Panthers' final tune-up before the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championships May 11-13 in Wichita, Kan.
Field events will start at 11 a.m. Friday with running events set to get underway at 1 p.m. Along with UNI, the meet will feature athletes from Drake, Iowa State, Minnesota, Western Illinois, Coe, Simpson, Iowa Central Community College and Iowa.
Results will be posted on UNIPanthers.com following the conclusion of the meet.
