University of Northern Iowa Director of Athletics Troy Dannen announced the promotion of Andre Seoldo and John Eby, two members of his administrative senior staff.

"These promotions reflect the confidence of our administration in Andre and John, and their senior leadership roles in the department," Dannen said.

Seoldo has been promoted to Associate Athletics Director for Facilities and Operations. Seoldo is starting his third year at UNI. Prior to UNI, Seoldo gained 10 years of experience in the facilities and operations area at Kent State University where he progressed from Field House Assistant to Associate Athletic Director. Seoldo is a 1997 graduate of Northeastern University. Seoldo also earned his master's degree at Wichita State in 2000.

"In a short time, Andre has dramatically improved the fiscal performance and customer service experience in our athletic facilities," Dannen said. "Andre's management of the sold-out Jason Aldean concert last spring energized the campus and reestablished the UNI-Dome as a top-tier concert venue.  Hosting over 400 events a year, the facilities and staff in Andre's division are a key external component for the department."

Eby has been promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Athletic Marketing. Eby is beginning his third year on the UNI athletics staff. Prior to being named Director of Athletics Marketing at UNI, Eby served as a marketing associate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for two years. Eby is a 2004 graduate of Nebraska.

"John has overseen growth in our season ticket base, and has been instrumental in expanding the department's reach through social media, webcasting," Dannen said. "In addition, coaches for cheer and dance have been added during his watch, which have added to a significantly improved game-day experience for Panther fans."
