Former University of Northern Iowa golfer Derek Bohlen is one of 12 men that has been selected to take part in the Golf Channel's Big Break Greenbrier.
It’s an eleven week battle at The Greenbrier Resort to come back for a coveted exemption into the 2013 Greenbrier Classic.
"The Big Break has the perfect guy for this show," UNI head coach John Bermel said. "He's a flashy player and on top of that he's a good player too."
As a senior for the UNI Panthers in 2006-07, Bohlen made 10 starts and saw action in 29 rounds of golf. He averaged 74.1 per round and shot a season-best 69 on three different occasions.
