Kerry Dickerson is in his second year at UNI serving as Assistant Athletics Director for Development.

Dickerson oversees the Panther Scholarship Club and its staff as well as assists UNI Athletics in overall fundraising efforts.

Prior to his arrival at UNI, he spent eight years serving as an Associate Athletic Director at Washburn University in Topeka, Kan. In his role at Washburn he helped lead the redesign and development of the Whiting Fieldhouse renovation completing a $7 million face-lift with the addition of the Capitol Federal Savings Student Athlete Strength and Conditioning Center as well as upgrades to Falley Field with the field turf infield, bullpen and outfield fence project and a field turf renovation to Yager Stadium. Prior to his development work at Washburn, he served as an assistant men's basketball coach for the Ichabods from 1997-2003.

A native of Blue Springs, Mo., Dickerson was a two-year starter for the Ichabods at point guard and played on the team from 1988 to 1993. He started 38 of 116 games for Washburn and his team leadership helped give the Ichabods two MIAA championships and NCAA Division II tournament teams.

Dickerson is a 1993 graduate of Washburn with a bachelor's degree in health and science. He also obtained his master's in business administration in 2009 from Friends (Kan.) University.

Dickerson and his wife, Maggie, have a son, Mark.
