As an added incentive to purchase UNI season tickets in 2012, tickets to the Wisconsin and Iowa games will be made available to only UNI football season ticket holders. Panther Scholarship Club members with football season tickets will be given priority in purchasing tickets to the Wisconsin and Iowa games. The Panthers take on defending Big Ten champion Wisconsin in Madison, Wis., on Sept. 1, and the Iowa Hawkeyes in Kinnick Stadium on Sept. 15.

The Panthers will play host to five home regular season games.  The Panthers home opener is scheduled for Sept. 8 against Savannah State.  Savannah State competes in the MEAC conference and is the alma mater of NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe.

Defending national champion North Dakota State comes to town Sept. 29 in a big early-season Missouri Valley Football Conference match-up.  The Sept. 29 game will also double as Family Weekend and Hall of Fame Weekend.

Homecoming is set for Oct. 20 when the Panthers welcome the South Dakota State Jackrabbits to the UNI-Dome. The Panthers defeated the Jacks 31–14 victory last season in Brookings.

UNI will host home games in back-to-back weekends when Illinois State comes to town on Oct. 27.  UNI defeated the Redbirds 23-20 in a double overtime thriller last season in Normal, Ill.

The Panthers will wrap up their home regular season schedule against Missouri State on Nov. 17, and also celebrate Senior Night in the process.
