The University of Northern Iowa softball program will be holding walk-on tryouts for the 2012-2013 year.

Prior to the tryout there will be two mandatory meetings.  The first mandatory meeting will be held on Sun., Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. in Schindler Education Center room 244/255 and the other on Thurs., Aug. 23 at 5:30 p.m. in the West Gym.  The UNI coaches will introduce the program and take care of paperwork at that time.

The tryouts will take place over a two-week period. Tryouts will start Tues., Sept. 4 and close Thurs., Sept. 13.  Each night the tryouts will start at 5:30 p.m. and finish at 7 p.m. 

The tryouts will be held at the Robinson-Dresser Sports Complex which is located on along West 12th Street northwest of the UNI campus.

Each participant will need to provide their own glove and cleats. The tryout will consist of base running, live hitting, fielding and throwing from your position.
