Senior Brett Egan will look to lead the men's squad to another solid finish. Egan has placed no lower than second this season and has finished in the top spot in three of four races to date. Egan took home second overall in his last contest at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational 8k race with a time of 24:33.
Freshman Zach Buchheit will look to improve from a 26:03 finish while sophomore Terry Nielsen will try to beat his final time of 26:08 at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational.
The UNI men will be one of 23 teams competing, including teams from the BIG, Big East, and Missouri Valley Conference to name a few.
Senior Allison Fick will look to lead the UNI women to a strong finish on the 6k course. Fick took home 19th overall with a time of 18:07 on the 5k course at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational. Senior Hayley Thomas finished second for UNI with a time of 18:29.
Fick and Thomas will both look to improve their times against a field of 27 teams, including teams from the BIG, Big East, and Missouri Valley among others.
