ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Junior offensive lineman Dan Kruger was honored today by the Missouri Valley Football Conference as the Offensive Lineman of the week for his performance against South Dakota State.
Kruger was an integral part of the successful running game that the Panthers produced against the Jackrabbits. He opened up countless holes for running back David Johnson's second straight 100-plus rushing effort.
Kruger also helped keep the Jackrabbits sackless during the game, along with helping to create opportunities for quarterback Sawyer Kollmorgen to rush for 30 yards.
The coaches graded him out at 95 percent with four-plus plays against South Dakota State.
Kruger and the Panthers return to action on Sat. Oct. 27 when they host Illinois State for the UNI White Out game. The game is set to kick-off at 4:00 p.m.
