MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team shot a 322 in the final round of play at the Blue Raider Invitational to finish in 18th place. Despite ending yesterday in a tie for fifth place individually, Sarah Boss shot an 82 in the final round of play to finish in a tie for 26th place.
Outside of Boss, Alex Zenor shot her tournament-high 76 in the final round of play. Also on the scorecard for the Panthers were Kaylee Benson who finished with a 78, Taylor VanDyke with an 86 and Amanda Braun with an 87.
Throughout the course of the tournament, Boss also managed to be second in par 3 scoring with an E during the meet. She also finished in a tie for third in the tournament with nine birdies in 54 holes of play.
With only one tournament left on the season, the Lady Panthers will head to Boonville, Ind. next week to compete in the Braun Intercollegiate hosted by Evansville.
