ST. LOUIS, Mo.  - Redshirt freshman quarterback Sawyer Kollmorgen was honored by the MVFC today by being named the MVFC Newcomer of the Week for his performance against Missouri State.

Kollmogren went 20-for-25 passing for 265 yards and two touchdowns on the way to helping UNI to a 38-13 win over Missouri State on Senior Day.

Kollmorgen and Terrell Sinkfield hooked up for an 8-yard scoring strike with nine seconds left before halftime. Kollmorgen then connected with Carlos Anderson for a 60-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter to give UNI a 38-0 lead.

This is Kollmorgen's second honor from the MVFC this season. He was also chosen as MVFC Newcomer of the Week for his performance against Wisconsin when he finished with 18-of-34 completed passes, 265 yards and three touchdowns.
