Kalin helped lead the Panthers to a two-game sweep against the Salukis and the Purple Aces by scoring 20-plus points in both games. Kalin notched 20 points against Southern Illinois while going perfect from the free throw line.
Against Evansville, Kalin put up 28 points, matching her season high that she set against North Carolina State. She finished the game with her second career double-double, adding a career high 10 assists to her stat sheet.
Schonhardt set two career highs during the week, scoring a career high 15 points against Southern Illinois and beating that mark against Evansville with 23 points. She finished with nine rebounds against the Salukis and added eight against the Purple Aces.
This is Schonhardt's first career MVC honor, while Kalin has won Player of the Week three other times this season. The Panthers return to action this week when they travel to take-on Wichita State Feb. 8 and Missouri State Feb. 10.
