CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - Terrell Sinkfield has signed with the Green Bay Packers, the team announced Tuesday. Sinkfield was with the Miami Dolphins prior to signing with the Packers.
The Minnetonka, Minn. native was a three-year starter for the Panthers, playing in 39 games and accumulating 1,097 yards through the air for 10 touchdowns. He averaged 14.4 yards per reception on 76 total catches during his career at UNI.
During his senior season, Sinkfield finished with 499 receiving yards and four touchdowns. As one of the core receivers for the Panthers during the 2012 season, Sinkfield finished with touchdowns against Central State, North Dakota State, Western Illinois and Missouri State.
Sinkfield has chosen to wear No. 5 with the Packers.
