The University of Northern Iowa men's basketball team will take on the VCU Rams on Dec. 14 in front of a national TV audience on ESPNU with an 11 a.m. (CT) tip in the McLeod Center.

UNI is coming off a 21-15 season - its fifth straight 20-win campaign. UNI reached the postseason for the fourth consecutive year in the 2012-13 campaign. UNI has finished in the upper-half of the Missouri Valley Conference in 10 consecutive seasons - the longest active streak in the league.
The Rams return six regulars from a squad that finished 27-9 last season and reached the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
VCU and UNI met in the 2012 Bracketbusters in Richmond, Va., with the Rams coming away with a 77-68 victory.
