MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team finished in 8th place overall after shooting a team score of 297 in the final round of play on Tuesday. The Panthers were led by Jacob Bermel's third-round 72 as a trio of players also carded 75's for the Cats.

Following Bermel on the scorecard were Ryan Horner, Dustin Atkinson and Glenn Walls who each shot a 75 in round three. Kyle Driscoll rounded out the scorecard for UNI after ending the tournament with a 76.

The Panthers will be back in action when they head to Normal, Ill. to compete  in the D.A. Weibring Invitational on September 15th.
