Panther Women Finish in 7th at Golfweek Challenge

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team finished in 8th place at the Golfweek Challenge alongside the men's golf team after round three. Kaylee Benson and Alex Zenor led the way for the Panthers after they each shot a final round 73. 

Right behind Benson and Zenor on the scorecard for the Panthers was Jamie Ehrhart who ended her debut for UNI with a 76 in the final round of play. After shooting a 69 in round two, Sarah Boss ended the event with an 81 while Taylor VanDyke improved on yesterday's 86 with an 82 today.

The lady Panthers will head to Sioux Falls, S.D. when they compete in the Jackrabbit Invitational on September 23rd.
