The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team will look to extend its home-court win streak to nine in a row when the Panthers play host to the Milwaukee Panthers on Friday at 3 p.m. at the Black Hawk Tennis Club.
UNI (8-6 overall) is a perfect 8-0 at home this season. Milwaukee is off to a 4-5 start to the dual season.
UNI holds a 10-2 lead in the all-time series vs. Milwaukee. UNI has also won eight consecutive dual matches vs. Milwaukee in the series between the two schools.
UNI's eight-match home-court win streak is the longest since a 14-match home-court win streak that stretched from the end of the 2004-05 season into the start of the 2005-06 season.
Senior Krissy Lankelma enters Friday's match with a career doubles' mark of 79-43, which ranks her in a tie for No. 4 in doubles' victories at UNI with Joni Eaton (1983-87). Lankelma has a career singles' mark of 70-54, which ranks her No. 7 on UNI's all-time singles' wins list.
