Panther Women in Tie for 8th After First Round at Golfweek Challenge

PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. -- The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team is currently in a tie for eighth place alongside Western Carolina. The Panthers are led by Alex Zenor who currently sits in 10th place individually with a round one 74.

Being only the second meet of the season, head coach John Bermel sent out Alex Zenor, Kaylee Benson, Jocilyn Onnen, Taylor VanDyke and Sarah Boss for the Golfweek Challenge. 

Alongside Alex Zenor's round one 74, Kaylee Benson shot a 79, Jocilyn Onnen shot an 80, Taylor VanDyke with an 81 and Sarah Boss with an 84 to round out the scorecard for the Panthers.

Jocilyn Onnen is set for the earliest tee time tomorrow at 8:20 am ET. The rest of the team tees off every ten minutes from there on out.
