Brackets were revealed for the 2012 NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals Wednesday morning. The University of Northern Iowa (7-5, 5-1 WWC) is paired with No. 23 Virginia Tech (7-4, 3-1 ACC) for their first-round dual. The Panthers and Hokies will square off at 11 a.m. Sunday at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa.
UNI is seeded fifth in their region, while Virginia Tech is seeded fourth. The winner of their dual will go on to face No. 5 Iowa in the regional semifinal. The loser will be paired with the loser of the other first-round dual between Iowa State (seeded third) and Wisconsin (seeded sixth). Semifinal duals will begin at 1 p.m. The regional championship will take place at 3 p.m.
Panther Head Coach Doug Schwab will face a Hokie program that he helped coach for two seasons (2005-2006). Schwab served as an assistant coach to Tom Brands, who is now the head coach at the University of Iowa.
