Bonner Leads Panthers on Day One of Jackrabbit Invitational

PRIMM, Nev. – University of Northern Iowa junior Blair Bonner led the Panther women’s golf team on the first day of the Jackrabbit Invitational, firing a 77-75--152 (+10) to stand in a tie for 15th place individually through the first 36 holes.

UNI is tied in 10th place as a team, with a score of 324-318--642 (+74) after two rounds. Oral Roberts leads the team race at 295-290--585 (+17).

Behind Bonner, UNI junior Katie Tabbert shot 75-80--155 and Brittany Atterbury shot 87-79--166. Redshirt freshman Sarah Boss posted an 85-84--169 card, and sophomore Abby Bermel shot 89-91--180 to round out the Panthers' scoring. 

Freshman Jocilyn Onnen, competing as an individual, recorded an 88-86--174 for the first two rounds.

Competition will conclude with the final round on Tuesday at Primm Valley Golf Club.
