OMAHA, Neb. -- The UNI Panther women's golf team took home the first place trophy at the Creighton Golf Classic in Omaha, Neb. today. Seniors Blair Bonner and Brittany Atterbury led the way for UNI as Bonner took home the second place honors and Atterbury notched third.
The Panthers shot a 328 in the second round of play after tee times were moved to 9:05 a.m. rather than 8:30 a.m. due to poor weather conditions and excessive winds.
Sarah Boss shot a second round 82 to put her in a tie for 10th place overall. Alex Zenor shot an 84 to put her in a tie for 13th and Katie Tabbert shot an 85 to put her in a tie for 16th individually.
