UNI Football Signs 22 Student-Athletes on National Signing Day

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa football team has signed 22 student-athletes to letters-of-intent on National Signing Day, UNI head coach Mark Farley announced Wednesday.

The list of signees includes four elite all-state performers from the state of Iowa and two junior college transfers. Of the 20 high school signees, 10 are from the state of Iowa and 10 come from out-of-state.

UNI is coming off a 10-3 season, a share of the Missouri Valley Football Conference championship, and a berth in the NCAA FCS Quarterfinals. The Panthers have finished six of the last 11 seasons ranked in the top five nationally.
