VERMILLION, S.D. - The University of Northern Iowa Panthers fell to the University of South Dakota Coyotes, 138-105. The Panthers finished with six top-spots.
Bethany Olson took first place in both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards. She finished the 1-meter dive with 246.75 points, followed by 235.95 points in the 3-meter boards.
Chelsea Hartman took first in the 800 freestyle. She finished with a time of 9:21.23 Hartman also took second in the 400 freestyle, clocking in with a time of 4:38.35.
Caryn Knight, with a time of 2:31.68, took first in the 200 IM. Knight also took second in the 100 breaststroke finishing in a time of 1:17.26.
Lindsey Phelps led the pack in the 100 butterfly. She took first with a time of 1:08.24.
Jaime Pearson rounded out the Panthers first place finishes. She took first in the 100 backstroke, clocking with a time of 1:09.25.
Both relay team teams took second for the day. The 400 medley relay team finished with a time of 4:35.06 and the 400 freestyle relay team finished with a time of 4:08.69.
The Panthers will return to action next Sat., Nov. 12 against South Dakota State. The meet will begin at 1 p.m. at the Glen F. Henry Swimming and Diving Pool in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
