Panthers Finish First Day At Omaha Invite

OMAHA, Neb. - The University of Northern Iowa swimming and diving team finished the first day of competition at the Mutual of Omaha Invitational. Due to a system error no final times were available at this time.

Chelsea Hartman took first place in the 1,650 freestyle.   Allison Hobbs and Reva Bork took third and fourth place, respectively.

The divers finished in the top three spots of the  3-meter dives.

"The swimmers are rewriting the books for season best-times," said head coach Stacey Simmer.  

Final results for the first day should be made available tomorrow morning. The Panthers will continue day two action tomorrow with prelims at 10 a.m.
