At UNI:
2010-11: Finished 19^th in 500 freestyle, 13^th in 100 backstroke and 11^th in 200 backstroke at the MVC Championships.

2009-10: Had the second-best time for the team in the 100 meter backstroke, 200 meter backstroke and 100 meter butterfly...took 14^th in the 100 meter backstroke, 15^th in the 200 meter backstroke and 20^th in the 100 meter butterfly.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-time state qualifier...First team All-state in 2007...Four-year letter holder...Holds school record in 200 medley relay...Also participated in choir.

PERSONAL: Born Aug. 7, 1991, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa...Daughter of Todd and Sherry Petersen...Has a brother, Hayden...Chose UNI because it is close to home, has a fun atmosphere and the swim team is close...Majoring in mathematics.
