The UNI men’s golf team has finished up their fall season placing 4th with 892 in the Bill Ross Intercollegiate Tournament. Placing first was Central Arkansas with 876.
There was tight scoring for the Panthers with only a 10 stroke difference between the top placement and the bottom placement. It was freshman, Kyle Beversdorf, who held the lead for the Panthers scoring a total of 220 and tied for 8th individually. Following were Michael Wetrich with 224, Jared Doerfler with 228, Mason Linn with 228, and Braden Gaal with 230.
In this tournament Braden Gaal marked his best round with a 73 in the third round; his previous best was 77. Mason Linn also scored another lower round with a 72, which was the same as his lowest score for the season so far.
