TUCSON, Ariz. -- After day one at the National Invitational Tournament (NIT) in Tucson, Ariz., the University of Northern Iowa Panthers currently sit in 10th place behind nationally ranked San Diego State and UNLV.
The Panthers are playing at the OMNI Tucson National Resort that holds a par 72.
Ryan Horner is leading the way for UNI after carding a day one 75 (+3). Yarri Bryn and Braden Gaal are right behind Horner with a first round 77 each. Michael Wetrich tallied a 78 for round one, and Glenn Walls added a 79 for the Panthers as well.
