BOSTON, Mass. - University of Northern Iowa senior guard Kwadzo Ahelegbe and senior forward Lucas O'Rear have been named to the CollegeInsider.com's Mid-Major Defensive All-America squad.

Ahelegbe (Oakdale, Minn.) earlier this season was named the Missouri Valley Conference's Defensive Player of the Year. O'Rear (DuBois, Ill.) and Ahelegbe were each named to the MVC All-Defensive squad as well.

Rather selecting a first, second, third team and honorable mentions; the Mid-Major Defensive All-America squad is just one team.
