University of Northern Iowa freshman men's basketball player Seth Tuttle has been named to the 2012 CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Freshmen All-America team.
Tuttle (Sheffield, Iowa/West Fork HS) became the first freshman in the history of the Missouri Valley Conference to lead the league in field goal percentage (.652). Tuttle led the UNI Panthers in rebounding (5.6 rpg) and ranked second on the squad in scoring (9.6 ppg). Tuttle was named the MVC Freshman of the Year.
