The University of Northern Iowa Athletic Department has released the upcoming
UNI Golf Tour golf outing schedule for 2006. This year's UNI Golf Tour will
consist of 11 golf events. The men's event will be held on Monday May 15 and
the women's event will has moved back to July on the schedule to Tuesday July
18. Both summer spectacular events will return for a third year to Beaver Hills
Country Club in Cedar Falls. Online registration will once again be offered
this year at
www.unipanthers.com. This year's Des Moines area event in Ankeny has been
moved to a Friday in June to allow more Panther fans, coaches and staff to
attend the event. Again this year the UNI Golf Tour will make a road trip to
Western Iowa on July 31 to Carroll sponsored by Northwest Iowa Transportation.
The 2006 Homecoming Spectacular will be held on Friday October 6.
The UNI Golf Tour is a series of fundraising and friend raising events
supported by the UNI Athletic Department, and are open to the public.
Registration is open to UNI alumni, Panther Scholarship Club members,
season-ticket holders, and anyone interested in Panther Athletics. For more
