There are still spots available for two of the bigger events in the 2008 University of Northern Iowa Golf Tour. The UNI Golf Tour will invade Ankeny on June 20 at Briarwood Golf Course and then head off to Fox Ridge Golf Club in Dike for the Women's Spectacular on June 30.

"The Golf Tour is a great way for our coaches and staff to get out and meet Panther fans all over Iowa who can't make it to Cedar Falls," assistant director of the Panther Scholarship Club and UNI Golf Tour director Megan Witt said. "I'd encourage even the most casual fans to participate in any of the outings and see what UNI Athletics is all about."

The Ankeny event will begin at 12:30 p.m. on June 20 at Briarwood Golf Course. It will be a 4-Person Best Shot Scramble with an entry fee set at $80 per individual.

The Women's Spectacular, presented by Michelob/Fahr Beverage, will begin at 12:30 p.m. on June 30 at Fox Ridge Golf Club in Dike. It will be a 4-Person Best Shot format with an every fee set at $85 per individual.
