For the first time ever, Dubuque will host a stop on the UNI Athletic Department Golf Tour. More than 1300 UNI alumni live in the greater Dubuque area, and this will give them an opportunity for a great day of golf with UNI coaches and staff. UNI head men's basketball coach Ben Jacobson and members of his coaching staff are among those scheduled to be in attendance.

The event will take place on Aug. 4 at Lacoma Golf Club, in a four-person best shot format. Tee off is at 1:00 p.m., with cost of the event $50 per player. Fee includes greens fee, cart, tee gift, dinner and program.
