Cedar Falls, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa athletics department is proud to announce a new and affordable way to see Panther women's athletics this upcoming school year. The "Women's Panther Pack" is a booklet of 25 general admission tickets that will allow admission to any UNI regular-season women's sporting event. The cost of this booklet is just $50.

Fans can use these 25 tickets in any combination, whether it's one at each of 25 events, or all 25 tickets at one event. These tickets are good at any Panther women's sporting event - not including any postseason play - to which UNI charges admission, which next in 2007-08 includes soccer, volleyball, basketball, track and field and softball.

"We want to help generate attendance at UNI women's sport programs," said Tony DiCecco, assistant to the UNI director of athletics and coordinator of the Women's Panther Pack program. "We have outstanding women's sports here at UNI, and we want to do everything we can to help get fans out to see them play. This is a great and very inexpensive way for people to come out and help support Panther women's athletics."

"We are so excited about this opportunity to help fans get out and see UNI women's athletics," said UNI head volleyball coach and senior woman administrator Bobbi Petersen. "I truly feel we have some of the best and most loyal fans in the country and now it is time to add to that group. Our women student-athletes give 100 percent on the court, on the field, and on the track. We feel people that come for the first time to one of these events will be instant fans. This is such a great deal and we appreciate the efforts of our administration to make it happen."
