CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa department of athletics will be sponsoring a women's athletics kickoff breakfast on Wednesday, Sept. 5.

The event, held on the floor of the McLeod Center, is a new venture to kick off the UNI women's sports season. Doors will open at 7:15 a.m. with a continental breakfast, and UNI women's student-athletes and coaches will be there to meet and greet attendees. At 7:45 a.m., the program will begin, which will be emceed by Ann Kerian.

There will be door prizes given away, and all those who attend will receive a free ticket to that night's UNI-Iowa State volleyball match, held at 7 p.m. in the McLeod Center, as well as the Oct. ^ 5 UNI-Evansville soccer match held at 7 p.m. at Cedar Valley Soccer Complex.
