"Girls Night Out" at UNI-Iowa women's basketball game



UNI head coach Tanya Warren invites girls under 13 to "Girls Night Out".

Cedar Falls, Iowa - Encouraging leadership. Encouraging teamwork. Encouraging dedication. That's what "Girls' Night Out" is all about! And most importantly, encouraging fun! Come celebrate women's athletics by attending the UNI vs. Iowa women's basketball game November 18th! The Panthers invite the first 100 girls under the age of 13 to come join us for this fun event. The first 100 girls to sign up will receive a FREE ticket to the game for themselves and an adult.

"Girls' Night Out" kicks off at 2:00 pm in the Alumni Suite in the new McLeod Center. After being welcomed by former athletes, Emily (Berry) Hoffert, and Alex (Cook) Oakland, and Megan (Donahue) Youngkent, attendees will receive pompons, beads, tattoos, and autographed women's basketball posters. Girls can also enter a drawing for an autographed Panther basketball. Then, the excitement begins as the basketball game against Iowa will starts at 3:05 pm.
