Kara Moran joined the UNI athletics staff in August 2006. She serves as the media relations contact for women's basketball and softball. Moran came to UNI after spending two years at Troy University, where she worked with women's basketball, soccer, tennis and rodeo. Before working at Troy, she spent a year as the sports information coordinator at the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, N.D. A native of Camden Point, Mo., Moran earned a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Missouri in 2003, and a master's degree in sport management from Troy University in 2006. |
