UNI Adds Waterloo West's Conrey to 2015-16 Roster

University of Northern Iowa head men's basketball coach Ben Jacobson announced the addition of Lincoln Conrey (Waterloo, Iowa/Waterloo West HS) to the Panther roster for the 2015-16 season.
Conrey (6'6”, 215 lbs., Forward) averaged 18.7 points and 9.3 rebounds per game as a senior for head coach Cliff Berinobis. He earned second-team all-state honors from the Iowa Newspaper Association and third-team all-state accolades from the Des Moines Register this past season. He was named first-team all-Mississippi Valley Conference as a junior and as a senior. Conrey averaged 16.9 points and 10.3 rebounds and earned third-team all-state INA honors as a junior. Conrey was also honored by the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association with a spot on the Academic All-State Boys' Basketball Team.
“We are excited to add Lincoln to our basketball program,” Jacobson said. “He has done a tremendous job in the classroom and on the basketball floor. Lincoln rounds out this recruiting class very nicely.”
He plans to major in business at UNI. He is the son of Jeff and Beth Conrey.
Conrey joins a recruiting class announced previously this season which includes Aarias Austin, Justin Dahl, Spencer Haldeman and Luke McDonnell.
