The University of Northern Iowa athletic department and the UNI Spirit Squads invite you to join the fundraising arm of the department that focuses on the cheer squad, dance team and T.C. the mascot. The Panther Spirit Club has been designed to aid in covering the operating costs associated with the group throughout the year. Due to budget constraints, the athletic department is only able to provide a small amount of financial support to the spirit squads. In order to operate efficiently and be successful in our endeavors, we must depend on the squad's personal fundraising efforts.

The donations you contribute to the Panther Spirit Club will be set aside for many expenses incurred throughout the year. Some of the expenses include: transportation costs to events and competitions, uniforms and camp fees. The UNI Spirit Squads are responsible for leading Panther fans at all Panther football, volleyball and basketball games, as well as wrestling matches. UNI Cheerleaders, Dancers and T.C. also appear at numerous community functions throughout the year to promote the University of Northern Iowa.

    The Spirit Squads' most popular fundraiser is new and improved! Beginning this year, the Panther Spirit Club invites you to make your donations online or by phone, in addition to the mail-in option.

Q: What's the advantage of the new options?

A: When you make you donation online at www.DonateToMyTeam.com,  our fundraising program sponsor will donate an addition 10% to the spirit squad of your choice.  When you donate by phone an additional 5% will be given to the squad.

Q: Is it easy to donate online?

A: It's simple!  Go to www.DonateToMyTeam.com.  When prompted for a password, enter UNI DANCE or UNI CHEER.  Then, enter the name of the spirit squad member you'd like to sponsor!  If you don't have a name, just re-enter UNI DANCE or UNI CHEER.

Q: Can I still donate by mail?

A: Of course! Make your check payable to Panthers Spirit Club-(specify Dance/Cheer). But remember, if you donate online we can receive an extra 10%!
