2005: Outdoor - Outdoor season started off at the Ole Miss Invitational with a third place finish in the shot put, throwing for 44-09 ¾ and an eighth place finish in the hammer throw (48.40m)... Recorded a second-place finish in the shot put at the Mark Messersmith Invitational with her 45-01 toss... Also earned second place in the shot at the UNI Twilight with another 45-01 toss, as well as claiming first-place in the hammer throw with a 169-0 mark... Recorded a third-place finish in the shot at the Wisconsin Twilight with a toss of 45-2 ½, while also earning second-place in the hammer throw (166-03). Indoor - At the Hawkeye Inviational, earned fourth place in the shot put, throwing for 13.61m... Also earned second place in the weight throw (16.29m)... Threw a distance of 57-2 ¾ at the Adidas Classic, earning a second-place finish in the weight throw... Also earned second place in the weight throw at the UNI Invitational (57-9 ¾)... Earned a first-place finish in the weight throw at the UNI-Dome Open (58-2 ½), as well a fifth-place finish in the shot put (44-3 ½)... Threw for a career-best in the weight throw (58-4) at the MVC Championships, placing fourth. 2004: Outdoor -Recorded her best hammer throw distance at the John McDonnell Relays, placing ninth for her 152-2 distance...Captured fifth in the shot put at the UNI Twilight for her 43-1 3/4 toss and second in the hammer throw (151-5 1/2).... Finished out her 2004 season when she placed 13th and 14th, respectively, in the hammer (148-5 1/2) and shot put (39-3) at the Missouri Valley Conference championships. Indoor - Opened her indoor season by placing third in the weight throw with her 49-2 1/4 toss... Recorded her best indoor mark in the shot put, 45-5 3/4, at the Iowa State Classic... Earned two fifth-place finishes in both the weight throw (51-3) and shot put (42-2 1/2) at the Wisconsin Relays... Just missed earning all-conference honors when she placed fourth at the MVC championships in the weight throw (54-9 1/2)... Captured first place at the UNI-Dome Open with her 56-0 mark in the weight throw, putting her second in the UNI record books. 2003: Outdoor - Took fourth place at the MVC Championships in the shot put with her throw of 45-5 ¼, her best of the season... Threw the discus for a distance of 114-11 ½, her best of the season, at the John McDonnell Invitational to earn her an 11th-place finish... Earned second place at the UNI Twilight in the shot put. Indoor - Redshirted. High School: Three-time national champion... Placed 16th in the World Championships for Juniors in 2002 in Jamaica... Earned second place at the European Cup in 2002 and sixth in 2003... Took second place at the Junior Olympic Games of Europe. Personal: Daughter of Franjo and Stefanija Barsic...
