Steve Blocker Position: Volunteer Assistant Coach

Steve Blocker is now in his second year as assistant volunteer coach for UNI. Steve has returned to his alma-mater after obtaining his degree in physical education with a coaching minor in 2003.

As a Panther student-athlete, Blocker was honored as an all-conference member for the indoor 60-meter hurdles and was an outdoor regional qualifier in the 110-meter high hurdles. He currently holds the fourth best time in the 110-meter hurdles and the third best time in the 60-meter hurdes in the UNI record books. Blocker was also a member of the shuttle hurdle relay team that took second place at the Drake Relays, ranking it 14th in the world.

Steve is currently in his first year of graduate school at UNI where he is obtaining his master's in exercise science.
