2006: OUTDOOR - Redshirted ... Finished seventh in the long jump at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, establishing a new school record with a leap of 25-4.75. INDOOR: Set the school record (25-10.50) in the long jump at the NCAA Championships, finishing fourth to earn all-America honors for the fifth time and help UNI to an 18th-place finish ... MVC Male Scholar Athlete of the Week, Feb. 20-26 ... Named Outstanding Male Track Athlete at the MVC Indoor Meet held in the UNI-Dome after being the men's high-point scorer with 20 ... Claimed the Valley Championship in the 200 meters with a 21.48 time ... Set a personal-best time in the 200 meters at the ISU Classic in 21.44 ... Won the 200 meters (21.56) and the long jump (24-2.25) at the UNI Invite ... Placed first in the long jump at the national qualifier meet in Ames (25-7.50) ... Ran a personal-best time of 7.03 in the prelims of the 100m at the Minnesota Open.
2005: OUTDOOR - Set a school record at the MVC championships in the long jump with a leap of 25-0 ... Part of the MVC championship 4x400 relay team ... Named the MVC Outdoor Championship Field Evnt Athlete of the Year ... Placed first in the long jump at the UNI Twilight with leap of 24-1.25 ... Runner up in the 200 meters at the MVC championships, finishing in 21.27 ... Placed seventh in the long jump at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a mark of 24-7, earning all-America honors ... Also earned all-America honors as a member of the 4x400 relay team that placed eighth at the NCAA Championships with its time of 3:04.83. INDOOR - Placed second behind Dirk Homewood in the 200 meters at the Adidas Classic with a finish time of 21.71 ... At the UNI Invitational leapt a distance of 24-6.5 in the long jump and ran the 200 meters in a time of 21.86 ... Enjoyed a first-place finish in the 200 at the UNI-Dome Open, clocking in at 21.63 ... Earned all-MVC honors in the 200 by placing second at the MVC Championships with a 21.74 time ... Also the long jump champion at the MVC Championships, placing first at 24-11.25 ... Earned all-America honors at the NCAA Championships, placing eighth after leaping 25-2 ... Also a member of the all-America 4x400 relay team that placed third in 3:04.95. 2004: OUTDOOR - Started off the outdoor season at the John McDonnell Invitational with a 23-2 leap in the long jump ... Earned all-conference honors with his 23-2.75 jump at the Missouri Valley Conference meet where he placed second ... Also awarded all-conference for his third-place finish in the 200 meters (21.60) ... Had a big day at the UNI Twilight where he went 22-0.75 in the long jump and 21.75 in the 200 meters. INDOOR -Was a member of the 4x400 meter relay team that earned top honors at the MVC meet with its 3:14.34 time ... At the Panther Classic leapt 23-4 in the long jump ... Member of the 4x400 meter relay team that ran 3:08.94 time at the Iowa State Classic, placing it fourth in the Panther record books ... Earned fourth place at the MVC meet for his 22.05 time in the 200 meters. 2003: OUTDOOR - Member of the record-breaking 4x400 meter relay which took first place at the MVC Championships and fourth at the NCAA Regional meet ... Placed second in the long jump at the MVC Championships with his leap of 24-2.50 ... Ran a personal and team-best time of 21.91 in the 200 meters at the John McDonnell Invitational ... Third leg of the 4x200 meter relay team which broke another school record at the Drake Relays with their time of 1:24.37 ... INDOOR - Redshirted. HIGH SCHOOL: Three-time state track qualifier .... 2A state champion in the long jump and 200 meters in 2002 ... First team all-state in 2001 and 2002 ... First team Elite All-State in 2002 ... Two-time conference MVP in track and field ... First team all-state in both basketball and football (punter) in 2002 ... Member of 2001 state basketball all-tournament team ... Honor Roll member.
