Mike Cooper Class: Sophomore Hometown: Dayton, Iowa High School: Southeast Webster

2008: Recorded a top 6k time of 22:02.64 at the Hawkeye Invitational, recorded an 8k time of 28:43.99 at the Iowa State Open, finishing 28th overall. Took 10th place at the Lamb-Kohawk Invitational with a 8k time of 27:32.68. Finished 54th at the Valley Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned all-conference honors sophomore, junior and senior seasons in cross country. Four-time letterwinner in basketball and cross country...three-time letterwinner in golf....Member of National Honor Society and Student Council.
PERSONAL: Son of Craig and Sue Cooper...Born 10/02/88...Majoring in biology and movement and exercise science...brother Nick ran cross country and track at Drake from 2002-2006...Brother Chris ran cross country and track for UNI from 2003-2008.
